Ode To Moms
Once upon a midnight dreary
Wiping noses, eyes so teary
Sitting up til half past four
Sleepless nights on the nursery floor
Tears shed from the simplest joys
Learning to play again with toys
Every moment spent together
Brightest days, and stormy weather
Love so rich yet twined with pain
Feeling old yet young again
Taking joy in the smallest leaps
The woes all melt but happiness keeps
